The Space
We have 3000ft2 of open-format space divided into three unique areas: street-level "Café" floor for casual working, a quiet Mezzanine work/meeting area for heads-down focus time or large meetings, and the Biz Basement to house printing, scanning, day-use lockers and indoor bike parking. The facility has been completely rewired with clean power, saturated with high-bandwidth WiFi, and filled with ergonomic, reconfigurable furniture. We've set aside space for private phone calls, have a kitchenette (stocked with snacks and coffee), bathroom, and private conference rooms for two, four, and ten people.
Location
Workantile Exchange is located at 118 S Main, halfway between Huron and Washington Streets on the west side of South Main St in the center of Ann Arbor, MI. Need a thought-clearing break during the day? Try perusing the cool comics and toys at Vault of Midnight, picking up fresh strawberries at the Ann Arbor farmer's market, finish some quick shopping at the Kerrytown market, grab a book from the Ann Arbor District Library, or nab lunch at any of the great downtown restaurants: it's all within a five minute walk of your desk.
Who's there?
Workantile members come from many backgrounds and professions. Members include authors, programmers, lawyers, software developers, architects, translators, entrepreneurs, educators, small and independent business owners, and more. We've grown rapidly from a founding group of a dozen to over 70 active members. Members are drawn to Workantile for a variety of reasons. Some use Workantile as their primary office, some need additional professional space to meet with clients, a few even joined for the coffee, bus pass, and downtown locker.
